Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in spa guests at luxury boutique hotel — polished, warm, culturally literate
• Manage spa bookings — small boutique format; personalized scheduling for hotel guests and expat members
• Advise guests on SMA signature treatments — Bajío mineral water treatments, highland botanical wraps, obsidian stone massage, artisan clay body treatment
• Note altitude considerations in guest consultation — 1,870m; communicate any relevant guidance for cardiovascular-sensitive guests seeking hydrotherapy or steam treatments
• Coordinate wedding and event spa bookings — SMA's wedding market drives significant group spa revenue
• Process payments and manage retail — artisan beauty products, locally sourced botanicals
• Build relationships with SMA's expat community and repeat hotel guests

Requirements

• Previous luxury hospitality experience preferred
• Professional English — SMA's spa clientele is predominantly North American and international
• Cultural awareness and genuine knowledge of SMA's artistic and cultural identity
• Warm, sophisticated professional presence appropriate for design-conscious luxury market
• Altitude awareness in treatment consultation — minor but professionally distinguishing
