Spa Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead spa operation — manage small team of 5–12 spa professionals in boutique context
• Own spa P&L — revenue management with high autonomy given small team structure
• Design Yucatecan cultural wellness programming — temazcal ceremonies, Mayan plant medicine treatments, cenote wellness day packages
• Build expat community membership and ongoing client programs
• Develop cultural tourism spa packages for boutique hotel guests — Yucatán archaeological site day + spa treatment combination experiences
• Coordinate with artisan community suppliers for authentic local botanical products
• Manage relationships with Mérida's growing wellness practitioner community — yoga, sound healing, breath work

Requirements

• 3+ years spa management experience
• Deep Yucatecan wellness and cultural knowledge — programming authenticity depends on the manager's own understanding
• Professional English
• Entrepreneurial approach — boutique spa management requires more independent commercial decision-making than large resort operations
• Community relationship-building ability
