Spa Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead spa department — manage team of 10–25 professionals across therapy, reception, and wellness programming
• Own spa P&L — revenue targets, cost management, product inventory, labor budgets
• Design treatment menu for Playa's multicultural market — ensure menu serves North American, European, and Latin American guest expectations
• Build wellness retreat programming — Playa's boutique spa market has growing retreat demand from European and North American wellness travelers
• Develop and manage relationships with product line partners
• Recruit and retain multilingual spa talent — competitive market in Playa requires proactive retention strategy
• Produce monthly revenue and performance reporting for property management

Requirements

• 3–5 years spa experience with 2+ years in management
• Multilingual capability — English essential; Spanish fluency; additional language advantageous
• Commercial management competence
• Cultural versatility in team and guest management
• Marketing and programming creativity for boutique wellness market
