Spa Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily spa operations — therapist and reception team management, guest flow, treatment scheduling, service quality
• Manage multilingual team and guest communication — Playa's spa market is genuinely multilingual (Spanish, English, Italian, French)
• Ensure service quality across all treatment types — conduct checks, provide therapist coaching
• Handle escalated guest situations — multilingual service failures require supervisor-level resolution
• Manage therapist and staff scheduling across peak and shoulder season demand variation
• Train new team members on spa protocols, product knowledge, and multicultural service standards
• Report to spa manager on daily operational metrics

Requirements

• 2–3 years spa or wellness experience with some supervisory exposure
• Multilingual communication — English and Spanish essential; European language capability a meaningful advantage
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness for multicultural team and guest management
• Operational problem-solving ability
• Warm leadership presence
