Spa Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead spa operation — manage team of 6–15 spa professionals in boutique high-end context
• Own spa P&L — revenue management across wedding season, high season, and year-round expat market
• Design Bajío wellness programming — highland botanical treatments, Guanajuato mineral water protocols, SMA artisan beauty product integration
• Build expat community membership program — year-round revenue stabilizer independent of tourist seasonality
• Develop destination wedding spa packages — bridal party programs, multi-day celebration spa experiences
• Coordinate with SMA's active arts and cultural calendar — Day of the Dead wellness events, festival-tied programming
• Manage relationships with local artisan product suppliers and wellness practitioners

Requirements

• 3+ years spa management experience
• Professional English — all commercial and management communication is in English at this level in SMA
• Altitude awareness in treatment programming and team training
• Wedding and event programming experience
• Entrepreneurial approach — boutique context requires independent commercial decision-making
