Spa Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily spa operations at a luxury boutique or hacienda property — therapist team, reception, guest experience management
• Coordinate wedding and event spa programming — SMA's wedding market creates high-volume treatment scheduling during peak weekends
• Manage altitude-aware service delivery — brief therapists on treatment adaptations for altitude-sensitive guests; ensure reception team communicates relevant wellness guidance to new arrivals
• Maintain boutique luxury service standards across all team interactions — SMA's market is design-literate and aesthetically sensitive
• Handle guest escalations with the composed warmth appropriate to SMA's intimate hospitality culture
• Manage seasonal scheduling — SMA has high season (October–March), wedding season (October–December), and Day of the Dead festival week as distinct demand peaks

Requirements

• 2–3 years spa experience with leadership exposure
• Professional English — SMA's spa clientele is predominantly North American
• Altitude awareness in spa service delivery — treatment protocol adjustments and guest communication
• Wedding event coordination experience or aptitude — high-stakes weekend group management
• Warm, sophisticated leadership presence appropriate for boutique luxury context
