Stewarding Supervisor — Hotel & Events Complex

Responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding team of 4–10 members across hotel restaurant and banquet operations: schedule around the events calendar, confirm additional staffing for large conferences and galas
• Manage rainy-season kitchen hygiene intensification (June–September): increase mold prevention treatment frequency in dishwash storage; maintain floor safety program with additional anti-slip measures; ventilation management in enclosed dishwash areas during peak humidity
• Coordinate banquet stewarding for convention events: develop event-specific stewarding plans from BEO, coordinate pre-event staging and post-event dish return procedure with banquet operations manager
• Lead Distintivo H compliance program at Guadalajara altitude (1,550m): verify machine temperature calibration; maintain daily logs; prepare documentation for health authority inspection
• Manage clay and ceramic service item protocols for colonial boutique properties where applicable: train team on appropriate handling, washing technique, and storage for artisanal Jalisco serving pieces
• Control chemical program: approved supplier relationships, adequate stock management, STPS-compliant storage and PPE for team handling

Requirements

• 3+ years hotel stewarding with supervisory experience
• Convention and events banquet stewarding coordination
• Jalisco wet-season kitchen hygiene management
• Altitude-adjusted Distintivo H compliance awareness
• Artisanal Jalisco service item care program knowledge preferred
