Stewarding Supervisor — Resort Complex, Riviera Maya

Responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding team of 5–12 members across resort F&B outlets: schedule shifts, manage peak-occupancy coverage, conduct daily team briefings on service priorities and compliance requirements
• Manage eco-certified chemical program: ensure all detergents, sanitizers, degreasers, and rinse aids are on the approved biodegradable product list; maintain supplier documentation for certification audit file
• Enforce SEMARNAT cenote-adjacent chemical protocols: ensure no restricted cleaning chemicals are used or stored in cenote exclusion zones on the property; train team on protocol and verify compliance regularly
• Oversee Distintivo H compliance documentation: temperature logs, chemical concentration records, and sanitation schedules maintained daily and ready for inspection at any time
• Lead kitchen hygiene inspection program: weekly inspections of all preparation areas, documentation of findings, corrective action follow-up with kitchen management
• Manage chemical supply chain: maintain adequate inventory of approved eco-products; prevent supply gaps that could lead to use of non-approved substitutes

Requirements

• 4+ years resort stewarding with supervisory experience
• Eco-certification chemical compliance management — product list approval, SEMARNAT protocol enforcement
• Distintivo H documentation and audit preparation
• Team scheduling and management in a multi-outlet resort environment
• SEMARNAT cenote restriction awareness specific to Quintana Roo corridor
