Cultural Excursion Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport hotel guests to Oaxacan cultural sites and excursion destinations — Monte Albán (9km), Teotitlán del Valle (28km), San Bartolo Coyotepec (20km), Mitla (46km), mezcal palenques in the Sierra Norte
• Coordinate with tour guides on group transport and site arrival timing
• Execute artisan village circuit transport — textile weavers, black clay potters, copal wood carvers
• Manage vehicle logistics at archaeological sites and village locations
• Provide basic route orientation for guests — road conditions, travel times, village access
• Coordinate early-morning Monte Albán departures — best visited at opening before heat and tourist groups peak

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Full Oaxaca Valley route knowledge — Monte Albán, Mitla, Teotitlán, San Bartolo, mezcal palenque routes
• Basic English; European language (Italian, French) useful — Oaxaca attracts significant European cultural tourism
• Punctuality for early archaeological site departures
• Knowledge of artisan village protocols — village visit etiquette contributes to the excursion experience
