Resort & Activity Shuttle Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate resort shuttle — transport guests between property, Romantic Zone, Malecón, Old Town, marina, and activity departure points
• Coordinate whale watching season departures (December–March) — marina transport for boat excursions
• Execute Nuevo Vallarta to Zona Romántica routes for guests who want Old Town access
• Assist with activity logistics — beach equipment, snorkeling gear, tour group transport
• Maintain vehicle condition and punctual scheduling throughout shift
• Provide local orientation and recommendation when guests request

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• PV area knowledge — Romantic Zone, Hotel Zone, Marina, Old Town, Nuevo Vallarta geography
• Basic English
• Punctual and reliable — excursion departures have fixed windows

Work environment

Resort campus and Puerto Vallarta area shuttle routes. PV's varied geography — from the marina to the cobblestone streets of Old Town — makes this a navigationally interesting and locally engaging driving role.

About the role

The bridge between the resort and the real city. Puerto Vallarta's greatest asset is that it is a real Mexican city alongside a resort destination — and the shuttle driver who takes guests from their Hotel Zone resort to the Romantic Zone is delivering them from one world to another. The driver who says "I'll park at Basilio Badillo and you can walk the whole Romantic Zone from there — the fish tacos on the corner are the best in the city" is providing genuine local knowledge that enriches the guest's time in PV.
