Airport Transfer Driver — SMA Routes

Responsibilities

• Meet guests at Del Bajío (BJX) or Querétaro (QRO) airport with name board — polished, professional greeting
• Transport guests to San Miguel de Allende boutique hotels and haciendas — 60–90 minute highland route
• Provide Bajío landscape orientation during transfer — colonial cities context, Guanajuato wine country, SMA approach
• Note altitude arrival context for guests — SMA sits at 1,870m; some guests experience mild altitude effects on arrival and benefit from simple forewarning
• Maintain vehicle to luxury boutique standard — spotless, comfortable, cold water available
• Handle luggage carefully — SMA guests often travel with art purchases, photography equipment, formal wear for weddings
• Execute departure transfers with flight timing precision — longer distance transfers require earlier departures than coastal resort routes

Requirements

• Valid driver's license — passenger transport
• Clean driving record
• Conversational English — SMA's predominantly North American and international clientele requires bilingual communication
• BJX/QRO airport layout knowledge and SMA hotel geography
• Professional, polished presentation appropriate for luxury boutique market
• Altitude awareness — basic ability to communicate arrival altitude context to new guests
