Eco-Property Shuttle & Local Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate eco-property transport — shuttle between property, Tulum ruins archaeological zone, tulum pueblo, Sian Ka'an access points, cenote tour pickups
• Coordinate with cenote tour operators and archaeological site transport
• Transport guests to and from Tulum pueblo for markets, restaurants, and artisan shopping
• Provide local orientation — Tulum jungle road navigation, cenote access routes, beach road locations
• Handle bicycle pickup coordination where property offers bike transport
• Maintain vehicle to eco-property standards throughout shift

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Deep Tulum local knowledge — beach road properties, pueblo, cenote routes, Sian Ka'an access
• Basic English
• Reliability for pre-dawn cenote tour departures and late-night pueblo returns
• Physical fitness for luggage and equipment handling in jungle terrain

Tulum jungle roads, beach road, and surrounding eco-areas. Driving in Tulum's distinctive mixed paved/unpaved landscape — jungle roads, beach access tracks, archaeological zone approaches — requires specific local knowledge that develops over time.

About the role

The navigator of the jungle. Tulum's road system — particularly the beach hotel zone — is genuinely confusing for first-time visitors and local GPS is often incorrect. The Tulum eco-property driver who knows exactly which unmarked track leads to the hidden cenote, who times the Sian Ka'an boat departure pickup to the minute, who picks up the guest returning from the pueblo at midnight with no signal on the jungle road — is providing a genuinely essential service in a landscape where local knowledge is the real asset.
