Excursion Bus Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive excursion groups from Playa del Carmen hotels to Riviera Maya and Yucatán Peninsula destinations — Tulum ruins (45 min), Cobá (1.5 hours), Chichén Itzá (2 hours), cenote circuits, Sian Ka'an biosphere boat departure
• Execute multi-stop Riviera Maya routes — some excursions pick up from multiple Playa and Riviera Maya hotels before proceeding to destination
• Coordinate with tour guide on group timing, site arrival, cenote stops, lunch, and return schedule
• Navigate Highway 307 corridor and Yucatán Peninsula routes with expert knowledge
• Manage bus comfort and safety systems — air conditioning essential in Quintana Roo heat
• Maintain bus cleanliness between excursion days
• Handle passenger count management at all stops

Requirements

• Valid Class C driver's license — passenger bus transport
• Clean driving record
• Full Riviera Maya and Yucatán Peninsula route knowledge — Highway 307, cenote access roads, archaeological site approaches
• Basic English; European language useful — Playa's excursion guests are multilingual
• Physical stamina for full-day excursion routes
• Safety-first driving approach with mixed passenger groups
