Excursion Bus Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive excursion groups from PV resorts to Jalisco destinations — Tequila municipality (3 hours), Guadalajara city day trip (3.5 hours), Sayulita and Riviera Nayarit coastal villages, San Sebastián del Oeste mountain colonial town
• Execute jungle and adventure activity transport — Canopy River zip line, Sierra Madre hiking and ATV departure points
• Coordinate with tour guide on group timing and itinerary at each destination
• Navigate PV's varied road types — coastal highway, mountain switchbacks, jungle access roads
• Manage bus comfort on full-day mountain and highland routes — air conditioning, break stops, passenger support
• Handle whale watching season marina transport (December–March)

Requirements

• Valid Class C driver's license — passenger bus
• Clean driving record with mountain road driving experience
• Jalisco regional route knowledge — tequila country, Sierra Madre roads, Guadalajara highways
• Basic English
• Physical stamina for full-day mountain excursion routes
• Composure on mountain switchback roads with passenger groups

The driver through Jalisco's altitude. The PV excursion bus that departs the Hotel Zone sea level at 7am and arrives in Tequila municipality at 1,200 meters by 10am — passing through jungle, coastal scrub, sugar cane, and agave in three hours — has traveled through more ecological zones than most excursion routes anywhere in Mexico. The driver who manages that transition safely, who knows where the switchback grades require lower gear, who keeps the group comfortable across the altitude change, has mastered a professional challenge that takes real experience to execute well.
