Resort Dive Instructor — Luxury Guest Programs

Responsibilities

• Lead DSD resort courses and personal dive guide services for luxury resort guests: the instruction style at a luxury resort is private or semi-private, paced to the individual guest's comfort, and framed as a personal experience rather than a group training session
• Provide private dive guide services for certified divers staying at the resort: the luxury guest who is an experienced diver expects a personal guide with specific site knowledge and the ability to adapt the dive plan in real time to their interests
• Conduct personal instruction for non-diver luxury resort guests: the private DSD in Los Cabos is a premium product — 1:1 instructor to student in a resort pool followed by a private guided shallow reef dive at a protected site
• Manage luxury dive equipment provision: high-end wetsuits, premium regulators, and top-brand BCDs are the standard at luxury resort dive operations — the instructor manages this equipment to a premium maintenance standard
• Coordinate private marine charter arrangements for VIP guests: some luxury resort guests book private vessel for exclusive diving or snorkeling day trips — the dive instructor coordinates the experience
• Communicate at the highest service standard with luxury resort guests throughout the dive experience

Requirements

• PADI Instructor with luxury hospitality service experience
• Professional English communication at the standard of a luxury resort guest interaction
• Patience and genuine enthusiasm for introducing first-time adult divers to the ocean
• Private charter and VIP guest dive logistics coordination
• Composure and professionalism in direct interaction with high-net-worth guests
