Work environment
Senior water sports guide and team lead at a high-volume Hotel Zone beach concession. Team management and operational oversight in Cancún's largest commercial water recreation environment.
About the role
The Senior Guide who starts the morning briefing by reviewing yesterday's incident report — there was one: a guest panicked on the jet ski — who walks through exactly what happened and what the guide did right and what they'd do differently, who ends the briefing with "safety is not negotiable on this beach" — is doing the management work that makes a high-volume beach operation consistently incident-free. The beach that hasn't had a serious incident in 3 years didn't get there by accident.
