Banquet Operations Manager — Golf Resort & Corporate Events

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet operations for a Los Cabos golf resort's corporate and social events: corporate incentive gala dinners, product launch events, golf tournament awards banquets, and social celebrations are the primary event types
• Manage indoor-to-outdoor service transitions for golf event banquets: many Los Cabos golf resort events use the course pavilion, the 19th-hole terrace, or outdoor tournament staging areas as event venues — service team deployment and equipment logistics for non-standard outdoor golf venue events require specific planning
• Develop wine and spirits service standards appropriate for corporate incentive clients: the executive-level guests at Los Cabos corporate incentive programs expect sommelier-level wine service knowledge from banquet staff — the manager develops this capability through team training
• Coordinate the golf tournament post-event banquet sequence: awards ceremony timing, trophy presentation, sponsor recognition, and entertainment integration within the banquet service sequence require precise management between the tournament organization and the banquet team
• Manage large corporate group food and beverage service quality at scale: corporate incentive groups of 80–300 attendees require service team deployment and quality management techniques that maintain consistent service standards across a large guest count
• Produce corporate client post-event satisfaction reports and operational improvement plans

Requirements

• Banquet management with corporate events and large group service experience
• Wine and beverage service knowledge to sommelier standards for executive client events
• Golf event service environment familiarity
• Team management at large-group event scale
• Professional English communication for North American corporate client interaction

That justification, executed flawlessly across three days, is the reason the program comes back next year.
