Wedding Coordinator — Cliff-Top & Oceanview Venue

Responsibilities

• Coordinate luxury weddings at cliff-top resort properties and private ocean-view estates in Los Cabos: manage 2–5 events per month with budgets ranging from MXN 300,000 to MXN 2,000,000+
• Manage the extended Los Cabos wedding weekend program: Los Cabos luxury weddings typically span 3–4 days — welcome dinner, rehearsal, ceremony and reception, and farewell brunch — each requiring full coordinator oversight and separate operational briefs
• Coordinate with internationally sourced vendors: Los Cabos weddings routinely involve vendors who arrive from Mexico City, Los Angeles, or internationally; flight coordination, accommodation, and equipment logistics are part of the coordinator's standard scope
• Navigate Los Cabos's hard-water logistics for floral preparation: mineral-heavy water in the Los Cabos region affects floral hydration; the coordinator ensures the floral team has access to filtered water for floral care and that this is coordinated with the property's facilities team
• Manage wind and desert heat protocols: Los Cabos can experience strong northerly winds and extreme heat that affect outdoor ceremony setup — weighted décor, wind-resistant candle holders, timing adjustments for heat peak, and sunset ceremony timing are standard coordinator concerns
• Oversee real-time timeline management for events with multiple moving components: a Los Cabos wedding weekend with 120 guests, a private chef, a live jazz ensemble, and a drone filming team requires multi-channel real-time coordination

Requirements

• 2+ years wedding coordination experience; Los Cabos or luxury destination wedding experience preferred
• English fluency — the Los Cabos luxury wedding market is predominantly North American and international
• Luxury vendor network in Los Cabos and established relationships with Mexico City and international vendors
• Professional communication at the highest standard for luxury client management
• Composure and problem-solving capability for high-stakes real-time event management
