Senior Wedding Coordinator — Multi-Property Riviera Maya

Responsibilities

• Lead wedding coordination across 2–3 boutique properties in the Riviera Maya corridor: manage an active wedding portfolio of 8–14 events per month across the group's properties, with a junior coordinator supporting under direct supervision
• Develop and maintain the group's wedding package offerings: update pricing, customize packages for new client segments, create eco-wedding packages that differentiate the group in the Riviera Maya market
• Manage the junior coordinator's development: assign events appropriate to their skill level, debrief after every event, and conduct monthly performance reviews
• Handle the group's wedding vendor contracts and relationship management: renegotiate annually, add new certified vendors to the approved list, remove underperforming vendors
• Serve as the client escalation contact for any complaints or significant issues during the planning process or on event day
• Report wedding revenue, couple satisfaction scores, and referral rates to the general manager monthly

Requirements

• 3+ years wedding coordination experience in the Riviera Maya or comparable destination wedding market
• Multi-property management experience or strong organizational capacity for concurrent portfolio management
• Team leadership and junior staff development ability
• English fluency; ideally Spanish and a European language for the Riviera Maya's international wedding market
• Vendor contract management and relationship development
